2026 GKS Farewell Ceremony
Celebrating Memories, Inspiring New Beginnings
The 2026 GKS Graduation & Farewell Ceremony was held , at NIIED to celebrate the GKS scholars who have completed their studies in Korea and are preparing to embark on new journeys.
The event provided an opportunity to celebrate the graduates’ achievements and reflect on the meaningful experiences, memories, and friendships they made during their time in Korea.
Ceremony program
The program began with registration and networking, followed by welcome and congratulatory remarks, farewell messages from graduates, a GKS memories video screening, and an award ceremony.
Sharing memories and new beginnings
A special highlight of the event was the screening of videos created by GKS scholars themselves. Through their stories and memories of academic life, everyday experiences, and friendships in Korea, participants were able to look back on their GKS journey and share the meaning and memories of their time together.
During the Sharing Session, GKS scholars had the opportunity to share their experiences and connect with one another through interactive activities. The ceremony concluded with a group photo, capturing a memorable moment for the 2026 GKS graduating class.
As the graduates move on to new opportunities in Korea and around the world, we hope that the experiences they gained and the friendships they built through GKS will continue to inspire them in the years ahead.
Congratulations to all 2026 GKS graduates on your achievements and new beginnings!
We look forward to meeting you again as GKS Alumni around the world.
