2016 년부터 2020년 2월까지 GKS 학부 장학 생으로 경북대학교 원예학과 에 공부 했던 캄보디아 학생 쓰레이니읕 칸 입니다.

이것은 단순히 이벤트 때문에 참여하는 것이 아니라 재학 시절에 정말로 김부태 선생님에게 고맙다고 전해주고 싶었습니다. 처음 입학할 때부터 4년 재학 중 내내 계속 안내해주고 도와주고 맛있는 것도 사주고 힘들 때 고민도 들어주고 해결 방법도 제안해주고, 선생님이 아니었으면 대학 생활을 시작하고 적응하기가 힘들었을 것 같습니다. 마지막으로 졸업할 때 정말 고맙다고 했지만 말로 인사하는 것으로 만은 아직도 부족 한 것 같습니다. 그래서 이 글 씁니다.

정말 고마웠습니다. 선생님 있어서 경북대학교에서 잘 적응하고 잘 마무리했던 것 같습니다.

낯설었던 학교에서 잘 적응할 수 있게 도와줘서 너무나 감사합니다. 선생님 정말 최고였습니다. 늘 건강하고 다음에 성공한 모습으로 찾아뵙겠습니다.

My name is Sreyneath Khan. I am Cambodian. I received an undergraduate degree from Kyungpook National University (Department of Horticultural Science) and studied there as a GKS student from 2016 to February 2020.

I decided to participate in this event not just for fun but because I want to thank Kim Bu-tae, who was at KNU while I was studying there, for everything he did for me. From my first day until the day of graduation, he helped me and provided useful information. He paid for many delicious meals and was always available to listen to me and give me advice about my problems. If it wasn’t for Mr. Kim, I don’t know how I would have adjusted to living and studying at KNU. I told him on graduation day how grateful I am, but words are not enough to thank this wonderful person, which is why I am submitting this letter.

Mr. Kim: Thank you so much, for everything! It is because of you that I was able to finish my degree at KNU and adjust quickly to life in Korea. You are the best. I will come back to visit you as soon as I can. Wherever you are, please stay healthy!
