-LIBRARY
The Tae-Joon Park Digital Library covers over 25,000 square meters of floor space and provides 1,150 seats. This new state-of- the-art facility features seminar rooms for meetings and lectures, 50 group study rooms, reading tables and browsing sofas. Shelved accordingly to the Library of Congress Classification Number System (LCCN), the reference materials, book collections, and academic journals are located on the second, the third, and the fourth floor of the library, respectively.

-STUDENT UNION BUILDING (SUB)
The Student Union Building contains a cafeteria, a cafe, a clinic, a bookstore, and a bank. This is also a place where a number of student activities and student organized events, such as exhibitions and performances, take place.

-POSCO INTERNATIONAL CENTER
POSCO International Center has conference rooms to accommodate conferences and symposiums. The building also contains guest rooms and restaurants. A Chinese restaurant, Phoenix, is located on the fifth floor, and a buffet, D°Ømedley, is on the second floor. Please contact the front desk if you would like to make a reservation (+82-54-279-8501).

-COMPUTING FACILITIES
You will have an access to computers at:
1. Internet Book Cafe (first floor, Student Union Building)
2. Tae-Joon Park Digital Library (computers located on every floor including Cyber Cafe on the sixth floor)
3. Computer labs in individual department buildings

-CLINIC
POSTECH runs a free-of-charge campus clinic on the 2nd floor of the Student Union Building, where a nurse provides primary medical consultations and treatments for faculty, staff, and students. The clinic is only for primary medical treatment. The campus clinic also runs a resting room for those who suffer from extreme physical fatigue related to work or study. University members can use this room as long as they need within the clinic’s operating hours. Please call 279-2620 for more information.
* If you have a high fever within a week from the date of your arrival in Korea, please make sure to visit the clinic.

-POSPLEX
This new facility was completed in August, 2011 and has a convenient store, a cafe, a barber shop and a beauty salon as well. POSTECH cares to help you not simply focus on your studies and researches but also maintain a healthy and active life. POSTECH has a swimming complex/recreation complex and a gymnasium to help you practice a healthy lifestyle.

-Gymnasium
Most of the facilities in the Gymnasium are free of charge for students.
The gym is open every day from 6:30 am to 12:00 midnight, and closed every third Sunday.

-INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
International Relations Office hosts international events and programs throughout the year; it ranges from Korean movie nights to field trips, and many other cultural activities. IRO will send an announcement to all international students before each event, so please keep an eye on your emails.
Following is a provisional schedule for the events that are to take place in 2012. However, some of the events may be rescheduled or replaced by others depending on the weather or other circumstances.

-Sunrise Festival
POSTECH hosts annual Sunrise Festival to celebrate the spirit of unity and harmony of the POSTECH members and the local community.
This festival is financially supported by the university, and is prepared by the entire student body and the POSTECH Student Club
Association. Participants at the festival can enjoy movies, performances, singing contests, quiz shows, as well as traditional
Korean drinks sold at cafes, beer gardens, and food stalls set up by student clubs.

-Science War
The Science War, an annual joint event hosted by POSTECH and KAIST, is also called either POKA War or KAPO War, depending on which school is the host of the event. The very first Science War took place at KAIST in 2002 and representative students
