Outstanding Entrance Grade Scholarship
Qualifications
- Top 10% students: Admission fee exemption and 50% deduction on tuition fee
- Top 30% students: Admission fee exemption and 30% deduction on tuition fee
- Recipients must maintain the GPA of at least 3.0 each semester to remain eligible for the scholarship.
(only applicable starting the third semester)
- If the recipient's GPA from the previous semester is lower than 3.0, or receives penalty from penalty committee he/she will be disqualified for the scholarship.
- If the recipient attends more than the designated semesters, he/she has the responsibility to pay for the extra semesters.

1. Unique Academic Programs of Handong Global University
1) Admissions with Undeclared Majors
All Handong Global University students are admitted with an undeclared major and department. For their first year, students can explore introductory major courses and choose their majors, regardless of the departments and areas of study.
2) Compulsory Double Major
Handong Global University mandates double majors for students except those in intensive majors.
Through the double major system, students utilize the knowledge gathered from these majors to develop creative convergence ∙ talents.
3) Student-designed Major
Students can create their own convergence major by selecting from over 200 classes across 16 departments to.
4) Certified STEM Education Programs
Our Computer Science and Electrical Engineering programs have received
the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea (ABEEK).

3. Character Education
Residential College (RC) & Team System
In the Residential College (RC) system, students will be placed in a team with approximately 30 other students
from different grades and majors and supervised by a team professor who provides mentorship.
Students live in dormitory with team members, and experience fellowship by going to chapel and having team meetings together.
