The Graduate School of Korean Studies, the Academy of Korean Studies, is a research-oriented institution in the fields of humanities and social sciences pertinent to Korea. It aims to nurture scholars contributing to the development and globalization of Korean studies.
Courses in English
○ As we provide Master's and doctoral degree program in the fields of Korean studies, most courses are taught in Korean except courses of Korean Cultural Studies major in the Division of Global Korean Studies.
○ Courses provided in English in 2024 spring semester : Comparative Culture Studies, Korean Visual Culture Ⅰ, Economic History in Korea, Korean Consumer Culture and Business, Characteristics and Structure of the Korean Language, Intermediate Korean Culture and Society, Korean Classical Language for Foreigners Ⅰ, Psychology of Korean I, Counseling and Psychotherapy, Society and Culture of Goryeo
○ Courses provided in English in 2024 fall semester : Bibliographical Research on Korean Studies I, Origins and History of the Korean Language, Methodology in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language, Korean Classical Language for Foreigners I, Psychology of Korean Ⅱ, Counseling and Psychotherapy, History of Medieval Korea: The Goryeo Dynasty
