1. Tuition Reduction Based on Korean Language Achievement
Tuition fees are partially waived every semester according to your level in
the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) or KIIP (Korean Immigration & Integration Program).
Example:
TOPIK Level 2 / KIIP Level 2 → 30% reduction
TOPIK Level 3 / KIIP Level 3 → 50% reduction
TOPIK Level 4 / KIIP Level 4 → 70% reduction
TOPIK Level 5+ / KIIP Level 5+ → 100% reduction

1. Eligibility Requirements Applicants with qualifications obtained through equivalency exams (e.g., GED), homeschooling, or online learning are not accepted. Dual nationals holding Korean citizenship are not eligible to apply. Both parents must hold foreign nationality; applicants who have renounced Korean nationality must submit official proof of renunciation. 2. Document Submission Academic certificates and transcripts must be apostilled or consularly authenticated. Applicants with Chinese nationality must submit either a CSSD (China Academic Degree & Graduate Education Development Center) report or documents verified by the Ministry of Education or a consulate. Submission of forged documents or failure to submit required documents will result in disqualification or revocation of admission. All documents must be submitted as originals or notarized Korean translations. 3. Language Requirements Applicants must meet at least one of the following: Hold a valid TOPIK Level 2 or higher certificate (within the validity period). Complete KIIP Level 2 or higher, or obtain a score of 41 or higher on the KIIP pre-assessment (certificate required). Complete at least one year of study at a Korean language institute affiliated with a Korean university and achieve a score of 60 or higher on Ansan University’s internal Korean language test. 4. Tuition and Refund Policy Tuition must be paid in full via virtual account (credit card or installment payment is not allowed). A full refund is available only in case of visa denial, even after the semester begins. Refunds for other reasons will follow the Ministry of Education’s Regulations on Tuition and Admission Fees. 5. Insurance and Stay Requirements Enrollment in National Health Insurance or private insurance is mandatory. Students without insurance may face restrictions on scholarship eligibility. Violation of visa regulations or overstay may result in cancellation of admission or enrollment. 6. Other Administrative Notes Applications cannot be modified or canceled after submission. Applicants who do not attend the interview will be automatically disqualified. Applicants are responsible for any disadvantages caused by incorrect contact information. After issuance of the Certificate of Admission, duplicate enrollment at another institution is not permitted.
