■ Community Program – Bahrom Character Education
Bahrom means ‘to live right’ in Korean. Bahrom Character Education provides a precious opportunity to find your true self and to find joy in living with others in your community. It will teach you to become proactive in your life with an energy to build your future. It will be a meaningful experience for international students as it will give them a chance to live with Korean students and learn what it is to become a member of SWU community.
■ Global Program – World Culture Experience & Service
WCES is a global program where students spend 3 weeks in different parts of the world for cultural exchange and community service. Students will have workshop and seminar with local students from SWU’s partner university in the first week, and engage in community service for locals such as children, senior citizens, physically handicapped in the second week. In the third week students have opportunity to experience traditional culture of the host country. Currently SWU is sending students to India, France, Indonesia, Russia, Mongolia, Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand. A round-trip airfare, travel insurance are covered by SWU.
■ Job Opportunities Program - SWCD Academy Internship
SWU is running an internship program to further students’ capacity in the field. Job training customized for companies as well as online sessions that are designed to fulfill individual needs are provided. SWU alumnae are invited as guest speakers to share stories about their field of work. 62.2% of the SWCD Academy graduates are employed, giving students a great deal of assistance in getting a job after graduation.

● Eco-friendly Campus
SWU started STOP CO2 Eco-Campus Campaign, and is at the forefront of building a low-carbon, green society at this age of global warming. We are making a lot of effort to save energy through eco-friendly construction, garbage distribution and recycling. SWU underwent Campus Ecosystem Improvement Project, to provide its students with green nature so that they may be able to grow into female talents with tender leadership.
