Division of International Studies
-Please note that all major courses in the Division of International Studies are conducted in English, while general education courses are offered in Korean
Division of International Studies, established in 2011, admitted its first cohort of students in 2012. The Division draws on the strengths of economics, business, mathematics, statistics, and English while also being firmly rooted in globalization of the scholarly academy.
With the conviction of placing the benefits and welfare of students as its highest priority, our vision for the Division is of a warm and truthful community where students live and share together the joys of learning, creativity, and growth. Modern trends of higher education tend to emphasize the transmission of academic knowledge and professional training. Flourishing under the college system, a unique feature of the Korean University, the Division offers the much needed balance of a quality extra-curricula education and rich college life to support students' personal growth and development.
We aim to help students develop the values, intellectual breadth, and practical skills needed to play leading roles in a wide range of disciplines and professions. Through academic activities, international exchanges, and service activities, students will come to understand how they can make their own positive impact on the world. Since we believe these goals can best be achieved in an intimate setting, the Division is small by design.
Division of International Studies is distinguished by its commitment to service and intellectual inquiry, distinctly international character, and highly participatory nature. The Division aspires to become a model of excellence in the fusion learning of undergraduate education.

· Give foreign students practical help for academic services and interpretation.
‣ Students can get information on the academic system, many sorts of language tests including TOPIK.
‣ Students can also receive information on the language exchange program, the home-stay program, field trips, sports events, etc.
‣ Orientation, social gatherings, New Year’s Eve celebration, and the buddy program are held at the Global Lounge
