Approximately 80 people, including Ambassador Taeyeol Kwak, Rodrigo Guzman, President of the GKS El Salvador Alumni Association, other alumni members, and professors and students of Universidad Don Bosco

The GKS Alumni Seminar was organized for the celebration of Hangul Day which began with a welcome speech by Ambassador Taeyeol Kwak, followed by an opening address from Rodrigo Guzman, President of the Alumni Association. The seminar included presentations on the history and cultural value of Hangul, sharing of study-in-Korea experiences, and an introduction to the GKS Scholarship Program.
이번 한글날 기념 GKS 동문회 세미나는 곽태열 대사의 환영사를 시작으로 Rodrigo Guzman 동문회장의 개회사 그리고 한글의 역사와 문화적 가치, 한국유학 경험 공유 및 GKS 장학생 프로그램소개로 이루어졌다.

This year marks the 63rd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and El Salvador, a significant milestone. The seminar highlighted the expanding cooperation between the two countries in politics, economy, culture, and education, and recognized the role of El Salvador GKS scholars in serving as a bridge for friendly relations between the two nations after studying in Korea.
올해는 한국과 엘살바도르가 수교 63주년을 맞는 뜻깊은 해로, 양국이 정치, 경제, 문화, 교육 등 다양한 분야에서 협력을 더욱 확대해 나가고 있으며, 엘살바도르 GKS장학생들이 한국에서 수학한뒤 양국간 우호 협력의 가교로 활약하고 있음을 높이 평가하였다.

This was the first seminar hosted by the GKS Alumni Association and served as a valuable opportunity to promote the excellence of Hangul and the GKS Scholarship Program to students of Universidad Don Bosco. In the future, the Alumni Association plans to voluntarily organize various events to encourage and support GKS alumni in their role as a bridge for enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
이번 세미나는 GKS 동문회가 주최한 첫 세미나이며, Don Bosco 대학교 학생들에게 한글날 계기 한글의 우수성과 GKS 장학생 프로그램을 홍보하는 좋은 계기가 되었다. 앞으로도 다양한 행사를 자발적으로 개최하며, 양국간 협력 증진의 가교역할로 GKS 동문들을 독려하고 지원해 나갈 예정이다.

Following the Hangul Day seminar, a GKS program promotion event was held to provide a thorough understanding of the GKS Scholarship Program and to guide prospective students in preparing for studying in Korea, helping them pursue their dream of studying in Korea.
이번 행사는 한글날 기념 세미나 개최 이후에 GKS 프로그램 홍보행사를 개최하여, GKS 장학생 프로그램을 잘 이해하고 유학 준비하여 한국 유학의 꿈을 이루기 위한 홍보행사가 펼쳐졌다.
