2025 GKS Alumni Invitation Program

The 2025 GKS Alumni Invitation Program was held from October 26 to November 2, 2025, for 7 days and 6 nights, with alumni from 14 countries participating.
The program aimed to promote understanding of Korean culture and strengthen the global network.

2025 GKS 동문초청연수는 2025년 10월 26일부터 2025년 11월 2일, 6박 7일간 14개국 동문들이 참여한
가운데 한국문화 이해와 글로벌 네트워크 강화를 목표로 진행되었다.

Participants gained an in-depth experience of Korean history and traditional culture through a tour of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, and witnessed the development and innovation of Korea's technology industry during visits to the Samsung Innovation Museum and HYKR Ground. In the traditional musical instrument class, they learned and played Korean instruments together, adding meaning to cultural exchange.
Through a Seoul trend tour centered around Seongsu-dong and Seoul Forest, the alumni enjoyed the latest cultural and artistic content.
The program also included a networking session where alumni from different countries discussed their current activities and potential areas of collaboration, as well as a meeting with current GKS scholars that provided opportunities to network about career paths, employment, and more.

참가자들은 수원화성탐방을 통해 한국의 역사와 전통문화를 깊이 있게 경험했으며, 삼성이노베이션뮤지엄과 하이커그라운드 방문을 통해 한국 기술 산업의 발전과 혁신을 직접 확인했다. 또한 전통악기클래스에서는 한국의 소리를 배우고 함께 연주하며 문화적 교류의 의미를 더했다.
성수동과 서울숲 중심으로 한 서울 트렌드 투어를 통해 동문들은 최신 문화예술 콘텐츠를 즐겼다. 이번 연수에서는 각국 동문들의 현재 활동 현황과 협력 가능성을 논의하는 교류의장은 물론, GKS장학생 후배와의 만남을 통해 진로, 취업 등에 대한 네트워킹을 할 수 있었다.

Overall, the program successfully provided a balanced experience of Korean culture, industry, and technology, while strengthening the bond between GKS alumni and current scholars.
