The Korean Embassy in Azerbaijan hosted a GKS Alumni gathering on July 4, 2025, at a hotel in Azerbaijan. The event began with congratulatory remarks from the Korean Ambassador to Azerbaijan, followed by an introduction to the GKS program and viewing of video messages from current GKS scholarship recipients studying in Korea (Yusif Babayev & Narmin Karimli), who shared their experiences.

This was followed by presentations from GKS alumni and conversations between senior and junior members. Through these alumni presentations, participants shared information about career paths after studying in Korea, the current state of Korean literature translation and publishing in Azerbaijan, and Korea's educational system.
This alumni meeting was particularly meaningful as it brought together participants from various age groups anc cohorts, spanning from the early 2007 scholarship recipients to this year's newly selected scholars. There was also a Q&A session between senior and junior members that helped resolve questions from the 2025 incoming GKS scholarship recipients.

아제르바이잔 한국대사관은 2025년 7월 4일, 아제르바이잔 소재 한 호텔에서 GKS 동문회를 개최하였다.
본 동문회는 아제르바이잔 주재 한국 대사의 축사를 시작으로 GKS 프로그램 소개, 한국에서 수학 중인 GKS 장학생
(Yusif Babayev & Narmin Karimli) 이 보내온 동영상을 시청하며, 경험을 공유했다.
이어서, GKS 동문들의 발표가 이어지며, 선후배와의 대화가 이루어졌다.
동문 발표를 통해 한국 수학 후 진로, 아제르바이잔에서 한국문학 번역 및 출판 현황, 한국의 교육시스템 등을 소개하고 공유하였다.
이번 동문회는 초창기인 '07년 장학생부터 올해 선발된 장학생까지 전 기간에 걸친 다양한 연령대의 기수의 동문이 참가하여 큰 의미를 가졌고, 선후배간의 QnA를 통해서 25년 신입 GKS 장학생의 궁금증을 해결하는 시간도 가졌다.
