2025 GKS 졸업 축하 환송회. 2025 GKS Farewell Ceremony

3. Participants: Graduates, distinguished alumni invited from abroad, Korean GKS Alumni Association, Ministry of Education, NIIED, and about 200 others
4. Program: Certificate conferment, excellence awards and contest awards, congratulatory performances, etc.

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the National Institute for International Education (NIIED) hosted a graduation farewell ceremony to celebrate 968 foreign graduates from 104 countries. The event included the conferment of graduation certificates, an awards ceremony for outstanding graduates in academics and extracurricular activities, farewell speeches by graduates, and congratulatory performances. In addition, a session, where graduated working in Korean companies, shared their employment experiences.

Representative graduate Renchindorj Tselmeg (Masters in Child & Family Studies, Chonbuk National University) expressed his gratitude, saying: "I am thankful to the GKS officers, NIIED, professors, and friends who helped me endure difficult times such as health problems and family matters.

The GKS scholarship was not just an academic opportunity, but a chance to save my life and redesign it." Through the conferment of certificates, excellence awards, and contest prizes, the ceremony recognized graduates' dedication during their GKS scholarship period and celebrated their achievements. With various interactive programs held at the venue, it also created an enjoyable and meaningful occasion that fostered harmony among attendees.

2025년 8월 27일 수요일 국립국제교육원에서는 총 104개국, 968명*의 외국인 졸업생들을 축하하기 위해 졸업축하 환송회를 개최하였다. 졸업 축하 환송회는 장학 수료 증서 수여, 학업 및 대외활동이 우수한 졸업생 시상식, 졸업생 고별사, 축하 공연 등으로 진행되었으며, 국내기업에 취업한 학생과의 취업 경험 공유 시간을 가졌다.
졸업생 대표 RENCHINDORJ TSELMEG (전북대학교 아동가족학과 석사) 씨는 "건강악화, 가족 등 어려운 순간을 버틸 수 있게 도움을 주신 GKS 담당 선생님, NIIED, 교수님, 친구들에게 감사의 마음을 전하며, GKS 장학금은 단순한 학문적인 기회가 아니라 생명을 구하고 삶을 다시 설계할 수 있는 기회를 주어 감사의 마음을 전한다"고 졸업 소감을 밝혔다.
졸업축하 환송회 행사 중 졸업생 수료증서 수여, 우수상 및 공모전 시상을 통해 GKS 장학 기간 동안의 노고를 격려하며 졸업을 축하하는 시간을 가졌으며, 행사장내의 다양한 체험 이벤트 운영으로 모두 함께 즐길 수 있는 행사를 마련하여 참석자 간 화합을 도모하는 뜻깊은 시간이였다.
