On July 21, 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong launched the GKS (Global Korea Scholarship) Alumni Association at a Korean restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui. The gathering also served as an opportunity for current master's students and alumni to share advice on career paths and professional activities after completing the GKS program.

The participating alumni welcomed the establishment of the Hong Kong GKS Alumni Association and actively took part in electing representatives, including the president, vice president, and general secretary.
Cheuk Wai Woon Joyce, who was elected as the inaugural president, voiced active ideas such as organizing a two-day, one-night workshop for alumni members, and is expected to play a leading role in driving the association's future activities.

홍콩 한국대사관은 2025년 7월 21일, 침사추이 한 식당에서 정부초청외국인 장학생(GKS) 동문회를 결성하며, 현재 석사 과정을 진행 중인 예비동문 및 GKS 수료 이후 진로 및 직업 활동에 대한 선후배 간의 조언이 이루어지는 시간을 가졌다. 참석 동문들은 홍콩 GKS 동문회 결성을 환영하며 회장, 부회장, 총무 선출에 적극적으로 참여하여, 임원진을 구성했다. 초대 동문회장으로 선출된 Cheuk Wai Woon Joyce는 동문회원 간의 1박 2일 워크숍 등 의견을 적극적으로 개진하는 등 향후 GKS 동문회의 활발한 활동을 주도할 것으로 기대되고 있다.
