안녕하세요. 저는 정부초청장학생으로 현재 한국학중앙연구원에서 재학하고 있는 아이굴이라고 합니다. 오래전부터 한국학에 관심이 많아서 계속 유학 조사를 하다가 어느 날 한국학중앙연구원을 알게 되었습니다. 우리 학교 한국학중앙연구원은 “세계에서 하나밖에 없는 한국학연구원”입니다. 무엇보다도 저를 이 대학에 유학할 수 있도록 도와주시고 저의 꿈이 이뤄질 수 있도록 힘이 되어 주신 가족들 그리고 한국학중앙연구원에서 GKS 장학프로그램을 맡으신 이나연 선생님께 감사하다는 말씀을 전하고 싶습니다. 코로나로 어려운 요즘과 같은 상황에도 불구하고, 이나연 선생님께서는 입학 신청을 비롯한 수학 과정이 잘 진행될 수 있도록 도와주셨습니다. 이나연 선생님과는 통화로 처음 연락하게 되었는데, 당시 목소리가 어머니처럼 따뜻했습니다. 또한 모든 과정에서 제게 친절히 대해주셨습니다. 이나연 선생님은 긍정적이고 밝은 모습으로 저를 맞아주셔서, 참으로 감사했습니다. 가족처럼 GKS장학생을 잘 챙겨주시고, 깊게 마음 써주신 것 알고 있습니다. 선생님 덕분에 지금까지 저는 보람 있게 공부를 하면서 유학 생활을 즐겁게 잘하고 있습니다.

Hello! My name is Aiguli, and I am a GKS student at the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS). I had been interested in Korean studies for a long time and was looking to study abroad when, one day, I heard about the AKS. The AKS is the world‟s only graduate school that is dedicated exclusively to the pursuit of Korea-related academic subjects. I am most grateful to my family and Ms. Lee Na-yeon, who oversees the GKS program at the AKS, for helping me attend school overseas and achieve my dreams. Even with all of the hardships posed by COVID-19, Ms. Lee helped me with not only the admissions process but everything else related to attending the AKS. My first contact with Ms. Lee was a phone conversation, and I still remember how her voice sounded as warm as my mother‟s. I was also struck by how friendly she was even when not meeting face-to-face. Thank you, Ms. Lee, for always greeting me with a smile and being so accommodating. I know how much you care about the GKS students and treat us like family. It is thanks to you that I am currently having such a positive study-abroad experience. Gamsahapnida^^
