    私が中央大学を選んだ理由は、韓国で一番最初に開設された新聞放送学科、現メディアコミュニケーション学科でジャーナリズムを専攻したいと思ったからです。私は、日本の放送局でアナウンサーと報道レポーターをしていた経験を活かし、現在日韓の報道の違いなどを研究しています。韓国人学生の中で学ぶことは、想像以上に大変で、外国人にとって日々の授業の準備も簡単なことではありません。しかし、同期や教授に助けられ、大変だからこそ、韓国で“学ぶ楽しさ“を実感する日々です。中央大にはメディアで活躍する先輩が多くいらっしゃるので、ネットワークもあり学校以外でも繋がりが強く、中央大を選んでよかったと思っています。

    実は、私は日本にいた時から大学院進学を考えていたわけではありません。およそ2年、2つの別の語学堂で韓国語をアニヨハセヨから学び、日本に帰国するつもりでいました。しかし、語学を学びながら韓国生活をしていくうちに、自分自身がまだまだ知らなかった韓国文化、そして社会問題を深く学びたいと思うようになったのです。韓国留学をする目的は人それぞれですが、“韓国が好き”という気持ちはおそらく皆さんお持ちだと思います。そして、韓国で生活すると、多くの留学生がもっと韓国にいたいと思いながら日本に帰国するかと思います。その点、中央大の語学堂は、内部進学制度があるので、選択肢が広がるかと思います。もし、私が中央大の語学堂からの進学制度を知っていたら、きっとそれを利用して進学していたと思うほどです。

    韓国では、中央大は知名度が十分なほどですが、日本ではまだあまり知られていないので、これを機会に日本人学生が増えることを期待しています。立地、知名度、授業、就職支援環境、奨学金制度、環境全てに私は満足しています。韓国にいる毎日が大切で幸せな日々を、韓国留学を目指す皆さんにも味わっていただけたらと思います。

    私は2010年から韓国に住み、2013年から韓国の製薬会社で働いています。韓国は、私にグローバルな舞台で働く機会を与えてくれたと同時に、世界がいかに速く変化しているかを私に気づかせてくれました。韓国での専門的な仕事をしながら事業開発活動に触れて、私は医療経済学の比較的新しい分野である、薬理経済学に興味を持ち始めました。自分の携わる仕事には、特定の分野の専門家になるために強力な知識基盤と結びついているべきだと信じています。最高の知識を得るためには、最高の教授の下で学ぶ必要があります。中央大学は自分の望みを叶えてくれる機関であり、薬学部は韓国でトップ5に入ります。私は現在、健康、社会、臨床薬学を専攻する博士課程の学生として中央大学で学べることがとても嬉しいです。博士課程を終えるまでまだ何年もかかりますが、すでに中央大学で学んだことは、私の人生を変えるものになると信じています。
