I have studied Korean at the Songsim Campus of The Catholic University of Korea for a little over a year. Studying at KLEC during the Corona pandmic has been very interesting. Nevertheless all KLEC teachers have worked hard to make every quarter fun and rewarding. Even when we have to study online, the teachers makes the lesson engaging. Also, everyone is very supportive and helpful and have helped make my life in Korea easier and more enjoyable. Students from all over the world study at KLEC and sharing this experience with them has taught me more than just Korean -

In August of last year, I began Korean language class at Catholic University of Korea. Though we live in a tough time because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Catholic Korean language center is steadfastly doing its part to teach foreign students the Korean language. Catholic University of Korea is a prestigious place to study Korean because of various facts. First of all, very easy to access public transport, pleasant environment, and quiet area. Additionally, I discovered that Catholic Language Center has teachers with a lot of experience teaching Korean. The staff provided useful assistance as well. In addition, the teachers and the staff have a positive relationship with the students. Teachers use a different approach to teaching in class. -

Before I came to Catholic University language center, What I knew only the basic 40 alphabets and the basic vocabularies in Korean .So before coming to school, I was worried a lot, but after I came to the Catholic University ,I was divided by level 2 and all of teachers were not only kind but also because teachers knew we were just in the basic level so they use simple way to let us get used to speak and listen Korean first. After six months of study at the Catholic UNIVERSITY , every teacher I know is very attentive, and the teaching way is very lively and interesting, so that people do not resist learning, but rather enjoy learning. The teachers at the language center office are also very helpful in helping international students with their life problems! It includes application Korea extension of visa and Apply for TOPIK test. I am happy to come to Catholic university language center to learn about Korean. It makes my life in Korea became smooth and wonderful!

The official name is the Catholic University of Korea(CUK). Catholic, meaning 'coordinated', 'general', and 'universal', is a word derived from Latin and is written as Catholic according to the foreign notation 'already hardened loanword respects tolerance'. CUK is not a seminary but a comprehensive university consisting of three campuses: Songsin, Songeui and Songsim.
No. the Catholic University of Korea(CUK) is a comprehensive university consisting of three campuses: the Songsin Campus with theology, the Songsim Campus with the humanities, social sciences, and natural engineering arts, and the Songeui Campus with the medical school and the nursing school. Although there is a theology major in the Songsin Campus, it is not right to say CUK is a seminary in general.
The Catholic University of Korea(CUK) is divided by three campuses and each campus has no overlapping courses. It is a multi-campus system that operates in a different concept from other universities divided by several campuses as a concept of branch school.
No. CUK does not require all students to take chapel class. There are subjects such as Anthropology and Love sharing including social service experience as liberal arts subjects, but this is a general liberal arts content that helps to grow into a talented person with the right personality. It does not teach contents limited to Catholicism.
