<大田(テジョン)>
大田広域市(Daejeon Metropolitan City)は釜山市、大邱市、仁川市、光州市、蔚山市と共に大韓民国の6大広域市の一つであり、大韓民国の中部に位置する交通の要所です。ソウルから近いため(韓国の高速鉄道KTXで70分)、地方にありながらも標準語を使用している都市でもあります。大田は行政、科学、教育に最も敵した所です。韓国鉄道公社や韓国造幣公社などの公企業が本社を置き、関税庁や統計庁、特許庁などの政府庁舎が位置する行政都市であり、さらに大徳研究開発特区のある都市でもあります。大田は先端科学技術都市でもあるため、韓国科学技術院(KAIST)や韓国電子通信研究院(ETRI)、韓国航空宇宙研究院(KARI)など、韓国政府出資の研究機関や韓国電力公社の電力研究院、そしてKT、SK、LG化学など大企業の研究所、さらにベンチャー企業などが密集しています。また、行政中心複合都市である世宗特別自治市が車で15分ほどの距離にあります。

There are 8 levels.
Level 1 : Beginners with no knowledge of Korean language will learn the principles of Korean vowels, consonants and pronunciation. They are expected to converse on a basic level upon the completion of the course.
Level 2: Learners are expected to communicate in day-to-day simple Korean and will be able to communicate on their own in public settings such as post offices, banks and markets.
10 weeks
Level 3: Learners are expected to express themselves mostly in Korean. They will go through in-depth training in grammar and writing.
Level 4: Learners are expected to learn a variety of vocabulary and expressions. Basic social issues in Korea will be learned and understood, and they will gain skills/abilities to communicate in both work settings and university level class settings.
Level 5: Learners are expected to understand general social conditions of Korea and express themselves in Korean. Those who are interested in applying to university/graduate schools will g

2. Buddy Program
Korean volunteers can assist international students to better learn the Korean language and cultural experiences. International students can apply for the Buddy Program in their classes within two weeks of the session.
