'1. Required Documents
1) Documents to prove the ability to pursue study
(1) Application form
(2) Graduation certificate issued by the final school
(4) Record certificate for the Korean language Ability
(Certification) Test
(5) Plan to pursue study
(6) Self introduction letter
2) Documents to prove the financial capacity (by a
financial guarantor)
(1) Bank balance certificate for more than 10,000 US
dollars (or remittance to Korea or money exchange
certificate for that amount)
(2) Employment certificate (a copy of the business
registration certificate)
(3) Certificate of property taxation
(4) A written oath to shoulder school expenses abroad
2. Qualifications
1) Korean residents overseas who have completed an educational course
equivalent to or
higher than that of a high school in Korea and whose parent
is contributing the development of Korea as a diplomat,
public servant working abroad, an employee of commercial firms
abroad, etc..
2)Foreign students or Korean residents overseas who have
completed elementary, middle and high school in a foreign
country
3) Defector-turned North Koreans or foreign students
whose parents are both foreigners (However, defector-turned
North Koreans should be recognized the Ministry of
Unification as having the scholastic ability equivalent to
that of a high school graduate in Korea.)
3. Procedure
1) Applicants: Applying for a standard permission for
entering the school (Documents should be submitted to prove
ability to pursue knowledge or the financial capacity of an
applicant)
2) College: A standard permission for entering the school
can be issued after the ability to pursue knowledge or
prove financial capacity is examined.
