Admission Guidelines
申请信息
* Eligibility
1) Applicant and both parents are non-Koreans
2) Must complete more than 16-year course of study(from elementary school to high school) in abroad
3) Those applying for Korean track: Must submit TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) Level 4 or above
(TOPIK Level 3 or above for Art and Physical Education departments)
4) Those applying English track: Must submit an official English Language Proficiency Test Score from below options
or submit an official certificate that proves the student’s medium of HIGH SCHOOL education was English
(University education not applicable). Applicable tests: TOEFL 530, CBT 197, IBT 71, IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, TEPS 600.

* Recruiting Departments: All majors for those who meet the language criteria

* List of Required Documents for Application
1) Application with one colored identification photo - given template
2) Certificate of (Expected) Graduation of all previous degree(s) - original copy
3) Official Transcript of all previous degree(s) - original copy
4) Study Plan - in Korean for Korean track majors and in English for English track majors
5) Recommendation Letter from a professor or an academic adviser - given template
6) Release of Information Authorization for each previous degree(s)
7) One 3.5x4.5 cm sixed ID photo in white background
8) Language Proficiency Test Score - test taken within the last 2 years
- Korean track majors: TOPIK level 4 or above (Level 3 or above for Art and PE majors)
- English track majors: TOEFL 530, TOEFL CBT 197, TOEFL IBT 71, IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, TEPS 600 or above
9) A photocopy of the Passport (personal information page) of the applicant and both parents
10) A photocopy of the applicant’s alien registration card (only for Korea residents)
11) Application Fee (70,000 KRW or 70 USD)
12) Financial Document: Bank Deposit Certificate of at least 10,000 USD or a Guarantee of Financial Support
from Myongji advisor (only applicable to those who participate in research)
13) Other: Awards, Certificate of Volunteer Activities, Research Publications/Activities, Dissertations,
Publications in Academic Journals and other documents that prove applicant’s excellence,
academic devotion and academic talent
