 Eligibility

- Applicants and both of his/her parents must be non-Korean nationals.
(Nationality criterion is evidenced only if applicants and both of his/her parents acquire non-Korean nationals on the period before the applicants begins the curriculum corresponding to educational program of Korean high school.)
※ Multi-nationals with Korean citizenship are not eligible.
※ Eligible nationality status must be established before the due date of application.

- He or she must have completed his or her entire elementary and junior high school education and;

- He or she must have completed (or expected to complete) high school education at a comparable and equivalent lever to that which is provided in Korea.
※ Applicants who have completed homeschooling, cyber learning, and qualification examination in Korea or abroad during high school education are not eligible for enrollment.
※ International applicants graduated from vocational schools are not eligible for enrollment. However, such applicants can be selected through additional screening if they are from vocational schools which have signed an agreement with KNU.

ㅁ International applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
① He or she holds (or is about to hold) a Bachelor’s degree.
② He or she must be non-Korean nationals.
③ Both of his or her parents must be non-Korean nationals.
* Applicants who hold dual Korean citizenship are prohibited from applying. Citizenship status is determined as that which is held at the date of the application deadline.


ㅁ Applicants of Korean origin must meet all of the following requirements:
① He or she holds (or is about to hold) a Bachelor’s degree.
② He or she must be non-Korean nationals.
③ He or she received their entire elementary, junior high, high school, and undergraduate education
outside of Korea at a comparable and equivalent level to that which is provided in Korea.
* Applicants who hold dual Korean citizenship are prohibited from applying. Citizenship status is determined as that which is held at the date of the application deadline.

ㅁ International applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
① He or she holds (or is about to hold) a Master’s degree
② He or she must be non-Korean nationals.
③ Both of his or her parents must be non-Korean nationals.
* Applicants who hold dual Korean citizenship are prohibited from applying. Citizenship status is determined as that which is held at the date of the application deadline.

ㅁ Applicants of Korean origin must meet all of the following requirements:
① He or she holds (or is about to hold) a Master’s degree
② He or she received their entire elementary, junior high, high school, and undergraduate education outside of Korea at a comparable and equivalent level to that which is provided in Korea
③ He or she must be non-Korean nationals.
* Applicants who hold dual Korean citizenship are prohibited from applying. Citizenship status is determined as that which is held at the date of the application deadline.

* Applicants have to contact each department to discuss the availability of combined program.
